1. What should I Study?
That is a very interesting question, and we will answer it like this. We will take each of our divisions and subjects, which you can see in detail further in this document, and explain them to help you make a decision of what to study.
Theological Studies
Theological Studies are subjects and topics that are related to Theology, but because Theology is too broad, the split had to be made. These are subjects that are not intense but provide a general view of the Scriptures. For those who are just starting out on the journey with Jesus Christ, this might be where you need to start.
Theology:
Theology is all about doctrine, and related subjects to help you understand doctrine. If you are already pastoring a church, and don`t have too many problems with the church and leadership, and want to know more of the Scriptures to help with the teaching, training and equipping, then studying Theology would help you.
Pastoral Theology
Pastoral Theology is all about the church and leadership – dealing from Church Admin to leadership issues and instruction.
Expository Teaching
Expository Teaching is all about verse-by-verse teaching – if you have been in leadership and pastoring a church for many years, and require a refresher course, then doing Expository Teaching will help you. Just remember this is a very intense course – at the end, you will have answered over 35,000 questions.
Biblical Counselling
This course will not help you or make you into a professional in this field, but rather will give you the necessary tools to help comfort people who are hurting. You will gain knowledge of how to handle certain problems, and you will refer people to the Scripture to gain the help that they need.
Apologetics
If you feel you are called into the Evangelical – issues the witnessing to the “other” religions and cults – this course will help you gain the necessary knowledge to be able to speak to them. Apologetics is not about apology – but rather to answer questions when people ask you about the Scriptures.
Biblical Leadership
An extensive study on what leadership is all about in the Body of the Lord Jesus Christ – His church – and the function it plays to bring about Ephesians 4 and 2 Timothy 2:2.
Christian Theology
A combination and self-standing subjects that help to understand the Bible, and can grant credits so that the student can start at any level once credits have been granted.
Read on to find out about divisions we do grant credits for,
2. Thesis Studies
The divisions where we offer credits – Thesis Studies.
It needs to be clear that our policy of granting credits needs to take into consideration that only Biblical diplomas and degrees – or all previous studies will be considered – no secular degrees or work will be considered.
That is all the studies that you have done by yourself, writing a thesis essay on the subjects that you will be given. It must be noted that only a small amount of material is given here – the rest of the research is up to the student. It must also be noted that the length of the thesis is the primary task – if 5000 words is asked for, that will be the starting point of the grade for the thesis.
Ministry is all about the ministry and what you are most likely to encounter in the church and with people.
